Larry Keesee

Larry A. Keesee, 60, of Waverly, died Thursday, October 02, 2008, in the Adena Regional Medical Center, unexpectedly. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am, Monday, in the Haller Funeral Home, Pastor Jim Steele officiating. Friends may call 1-3 and 5-7 pm Sunday at Haller's where a Fraternal Order of Police memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm. He was born July 10, 1948 in Winchester, OH to Charles R. and Mary E. Baker Keesee. On September 29, 1979 he married Wanda S. Lewis Keesee, who survives. Also surviving is his son, Larry (Susan) Keesee, of Waverly; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Austin, and Kristen; a brother, James Keesee, of Piketon; 2 sisters, Sharon Swartz, of Waverly and Elaine (Roger) Cottrill, of Frankfort; and a sister-in-law, Grace Keesee. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Lee Keesee. Mr. Keesee was a former Chillicothe Police officer. He was a US Navy Veteran and a member of the First Capital F.O.P. and the American Legion Post 62.
