Larry Donald Johnson, 66, of Chillicothe, passed away early Wednesday morning, April 7, 2021, following an extended illness.
He was born July 1, 1954 in Mansfield, Ohio, son of the late Percy and Gladys Johnson.
Surviving are his children, Jamie Johnson, Jason Johnson, Cassaundria Robinson, and Kenneth Sloan; grandchildren, Titan, Jailyn, Alyssa, and Ronald; his siblings, Patricia A. (Bishop Jerome) Ross, James Johnson, Pervis Johnson, Charles Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Gilbert Johnson, and Anthony Johnson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Zachary Johnson.
Larry was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army, serving during Vietnam. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Also, Larry enjoyed sporting venues and was a pretty good pool player.
A military graveside service conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard will take place at 1:00pm on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Soldier's Square, 643 Eastern Avenue, Chillicothe, Ohio, 45601.
