Larry Good

Larry C. Good, 74, of Chillicothe, went to be with his Lord, after a long courageous battle with cancer, Monday, September 21, 2009. He was born June 7, 1935 in Adelphi, OH to Paul and Nellie Weaver Good. On October 28, 1953 he married Betty Joanne Strausbaugh, who survives. Also surviving are this sons, Steven (Jinny) Good, of Circleville, and Randy (Maxie) Good, of Adelphi; a grandchild, Holly (Chris) Walker, of Hilliard; two great-grandchildren, Ashley and Sophia Walker; a brother, Paul (Margaret) Good, of Kingston; a sister, Loretta (Elmer) Waltz, of Grove City; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Good was a member of the Bridge St. Church of Christ. He retired from Mead Paper as a Shipping Supervisor in 1995. He also enjoyed working part-time for the Nourse Family of Dealerships. The family would like to thank Dr. Krishnan and the Adena Cancer Care Center for their compassion and care. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, at the Haller Funeral Home, Robert Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Wednesday at Haller's. Memorial contributions may be made to the Adena Health Foundation, Friends of Hospice, 111 W. Water St., Chillicothe, or the Bridge St. Church of Christ.
