Larry Copper

Larry R. Copper Sr., 60, went to meet Jesus, his Lord and Savior, January 2, 2015, at the Ohio State University James Cancer Center. He was born May 30, 1954 in Chillicothe to the late Robert L. and Beverly A. Hice Copper. On September 3, 1972 he married Rubie M. Ray, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Bobby "Ding" (Dana), Stacie, and Jerry (Lisa) Copper, all of Chillicothe, and Josh (Jessica) Copper, of Middletown, OH; seven grandchildren, Rene, America, McKenzie, Collin, Audrianna, Alexius, and Timothy; a sister, Susan K. Matheny, Chillicothe; two brothers, Timmie Lee (Frankie) Copper, Reynoldsburg and Steven M. (Jeannie) Copper, Waverly; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Robert C. Copper. Mr. Copper was a Southeastern High School graduate, an avid outdoorsman and craftsman. His eulogy will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday at the Haller Funeral Home. Friends may call 5-7 pm Tuesday at Haller's.
