Kevin Woods

Kevin Woods, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the age of 44, in Columbus, Ohio. Kevin was born on Friday, October 23, 1981, and lived a life filled with love, passion, and dedication.

Kevin's life was rooted in family and sportsmanship. He is survived by his devoted wife of 13 years, Kristan (Cutler) Woods, whom he met while both were working at Kitchen Collection. Together, they built a loving family and are the proud parents of their cherished children, Isabella, Wyatt, and Renley. Kevin's memory will forever be treasured by his siblings, Heath Woods (Nicholus Quade), Holly (Jeremy) Siberell, and Billy (Michel) Schmieder; his loving mother, Teresa (Chuck) Dailey, and loving Mother-in-law Melanie (Scott) Tuttle.

Professionally, Kevin was a dedicated Warehouse Lead at Glofiber, where his hard work and commitment were highly respected. Beyond his career, Kevin was a passionate sportsman, spending many cherished years playing golf, basketball, and slo-pitch. He was an avid supporter of the OSU Buckeyes and was often seen cheering for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Guardians, and Browns.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Bill Schmieder, who undoubtedly greeted him with open arms in the life beyond. Kevin leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and unyielding spirit that will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to call him a friend.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kevin's life at a gathering on Thursday, July 30th, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Haller Funeral Home & Crematory in Chillicothe, Ohio. This celebration of life will be a time to share stories, laughter, and memories of Kevin's incredible spirit.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Kevin's memory to a local sports organization or charity of your choice, in support of the passions that defined his life.
