Kerry Saunders

Kerry James Saunders, 45, of Ray, passed away suddenly Monday, April 3, 2017, at his home. He was born on August 28, 1971, in Fort Riley, Kansas, to James K. and Cathy J. (Crites) Saunders. Surviving are his children, Kasey (Chelsea) Saunders, of Chillicothe, and James Saunders, of Ray; his grandchildren, Aubrey N. Saunders, Madelyn G. Newberry, and Kaylee Saunders; a sister, Amie Camp, of Pickerington; a nephew, Ian Camp, also of Pickerington; his grandmother, Marjie Alford, of Point Pleasant, WV; as well as many special friends and co-workers. Kerry worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for the City of Columbus, and was a member of the Local 1632. In his free time he enjoyed drag racing, and going hunting. A visitation for family and friends will be held from Noon until 2:00pm on Monday, April 10, 2017, at the Richmond Dale Baptist Church, 213 Church Street, Richmond Dale, Ohio 45673. A funeral service will begin at 2:00pm with Pastor Bill Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in Tick Ridge Cemetery.
