Kelly Ann (Yeary) Chandler, 52, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Friday afternoon, March 26, 2021 at the OSU James, following a courageous life long battle with Type I Diabetes and its complications.
She was born on August 22, 1968, in Chillicothe, Ohio. She was the beloved daughter of Joan (Hollis) Harper and David Harper, who survive.
Also surviving is her beloved son, Koty Chandler, two sisters, Denise (John) Cormier, and Jennifer (Vincent) Antaki; two nieces, numerous nephews and extended family members that were all so dear to her; as well as her special cat, Piper.
Kelly was a graduate of Bishop Flaget High School, class of 1986. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church. She worked at Eagle Loan as a loan officer until health complications prevented her from working. In 2014, Kelly was blessed to receive a pancreas and kidney transplant, ending her battle with Type I Diabetes, but not its devastating complications. She had a vivacious personality and a unique zest for life. Every day she lived, she did so to the absolute fullest of her ability. She simply loved to laugh, dance, and she loved her family beyond words. Her family and friends will forever remember her love of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and other favorite TV shows. They will also remember receiving the hilarious cards she would find and send to them. She was truly one of a kind.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Ohio State University Hospitals for the love and care given to Kelly over the years.
Funeral services will be held at Haller Funeral Home at 11:00am on Thursday, April 1, 2021, with visitation for friends and family from 5:00-7:00pm on Wednesday evening. Burial will take place at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her honor can be made to Lifeline of Ohio at lifelineofohio.org
