Keith Evans

Keith ‘Ugg” Evans, 69, of Chillicothe, OH, passed away on November 21, 2025, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 16, 1956, in Chillicothe, OH to the late Thomas and Peggy (Lawson) Evans. In 1977, he was united in marriage to Linda (Berube) Evans, who survives.

Also surviving are children,Troy (Colleen) Evans, Kirk Evans, and Heather Evans; grandchildren, Zyrick and Damian Evans, and Willow Porter; great-grandchildren, Layven and Nolan Evans; and two aunts, Aunt Sis and Aunt Linda. 

He was known as “Ugg” at the Papermill in Chillicothe, where he worked for 41 years until his retirement in 2019. Keith was a storyteller, and loved to tell the same story over and over again. He never knew a stranger, everyone was a friend to Keith. He had a passion for all animals, but Mac, his bulldog, always held a special place in his heart. Fishing trips with his son in the Gulf of Mexico were always something he enjoyed, where they once caught a shark off the coast of Alabama.

In accordance with Keith’s wishes, cremation will take place and arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home and Crematory.
