Kay Ogan

Kay Ogan, 68, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly Friday January 18, 2008, in the Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Monday, January 21, in the Hilltop Mission Church, 398 Lunbeck Rd., with Pastor Aaron Satterfield officiating. Burial will follow in Three Locks Cemetery. At her request, calling hours will not be observed. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home. Kay was born October 17, 1941, in Ross Co., to Ira, Jr. and Opal Evans McCorkle. Kay and Bob Ogan were united in marriage March 16, 1963. She and Bob had three beautiful and wonderful children, whom she thought it was a privilege and honor to have known in this life: Danielle (Steve) Stutz, of Waverly; Brandi (Sam) Pence, of Eaton; Shane (Michele) Ogan, of Chillicothe; her most precious and beautiful grandchildren Makayla and Braydon Stutz, Waverly; Lil' Sam, Tyler, Lauren and Ethan Pence, Eaton; and Seth Ogan, Chillicothe; sisters Derre McCorkle, Chillicothe; Brenda (Larry) Ashworth, Circleville; Regenia (Don) Lear, Laurelville; brothers Mike (Kathy) McCorkle; Dan McCorkle; Greg (Teresa) McCorkle, all of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother and three grandsons. Kay attended Hilltop Mission Church. She worked as a bookkeeper for Citizens National Bank for 19 years. She was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1959.
