Kathryn Corkwell

Kathryn "Kathy" E. Corkwell, 86, of Chillicothe, died November 22, 2021, at her home, following an extended illness.

She was born October 23, 1935 in Ross Co. to the late George and Mabel Kellough Chaney.  On November 23, 1979 she married Arthur D. Corkwell, who survives.  Also surviving are two sons, Caleb (Sharon) Zickafoose and Paul (Laura) Zickafoose, of Chillicothe; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; a sister, Freda Sager, Waverly; a daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Zickafoose; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Zickafoose; three brothers, Dale, Orwin and Victor; and a step-son, Forrest Corkwell.

Mrs. Corkwell retired from Food Service at the VA Medical Center-Chillicothe and worked with Home Helpers until the age of 80.  She loved flower gardening and crocheting.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.  Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery.  Friends may call 2:00-4:00 pm Sunday at Haller's.
