Kathryn Clark

Kathryn Clark, 84, of Chillicothe, died at 2:24am Sunday, March 25, 2007, in Adena Regional Medical Center. She was born February 1, 1923, in Rowan Co., KY, to the late James A. and Lana A. (May) Messer. On February 15, 1937, she married Clayton D. Clark, Sr., who preceded her in death on December 9, 2000. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law Janis (Donald) Wood; Carol (Robert) Frey, all of Tennessee; Joan (Kenneth) Hopkins; Debra (Jeff) Hougland, all of Chillicothe; sons Jimmy Clark, Bourneville; Ronald Clark, Chillicothe; and son and daughter-in-law Rick (Jeannette) Clark, Chillicothe; a total of 90 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sisters Lyda Stiegall, June Stevens, Bobbie Johnson, Elner Jesse, and a brother Leonard Messer. She was predeceased by sons Clayton D. "Denny" Clark, Jr. and Jeffrey A. Clark; a daughter Marlene Liose; sisters Reba Skaggs and Wanda Henderson; and brothers Evertt, Alex, Thomas, and Billy Ray Messer. Kathryn was a member of Poe's Run Church. She retired from the Fox Farm Inn where she worked in food preparation for 15 years. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday at the Haller Funeral Home with Rev. Hubert Salley, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends may call from 11-1 Tuesday at Haller Funeral Home.
