Kathryn Ball

Kathryn Isabelle Burton Ball was born on February 29, 1928, to Frank and Sarah Burton(deceased), she was married to Harry Ball Jr.(deceased) in March 1948.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Edwards (Guy), and her son, Kevin Ball (Denise), grandchildren, Nikki Lewis, Kevin Ball Jr. (Ashley), and Ashley Howard (Trinian). She has 7 great-grandchildren, Donavon Keel (Alexis), Brianna Coleman, Conner Lewis, Averie and Trinian Howard Jr., Cairo and Aria Ball, and great-great-grandchildren Cayden and Tayanna Keel. She is also survived by her brother, Rev. Olie Burton, and 3 sisters, Elviria Valentine, Samantha Burton, and Evelyn Washington. She has had 9 siblings go before her, brothers John, Beryll, David, Ellsworth, and Francis Burton, sisters Agnies Frazier, Hester Moore, Sara Seibles, and Jean Prater. She had a host of nieces and nephews.
Kathryn was a loving mother and wife dedicated to the health and happiness of her family. She started working as a keypunch operator at Wright- Patterson Air Base. Kathryn opened Harry Ball Realty with her husband, where she sold real estate, became a self-taught bookkeeper, and a Certified Apartment Manager. Kathryn was a loyal and active member of several churches in her lifetime. She loved the Lord. She will always be remembered for the love and care she gave to her family and others.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1171 S. Yellow Spring Street, Springfield, Ohio 45506, with Rev. Dr. Olie V. Burton officiating. Friends may join the family for a visitation from 10:00am until the time of the service. A graveside service will directly follow at Rose Hill Burial Park in Springfield.
