Kathleen Weiderman

Kathleen T. Weiderman, 80, of Chillicothe, died Thursday May 22, 2008, in Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, May 24, in the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Carol Davis officiating. Burial will be held at 3:00pm Wednesday in East Lawn Memorial Park, Kingsport, TN. Kathleen was born March 29, 1928, in Mt. Sterling, OH, to the late Ivon C. and I. Beatrice Gabhart Terflinger. On February 5, 1950, she married Richard E. Weiderman, who preceded her in death in 1993. Surviving are their children: Susan (Dan) Weisenberger, Chillicothe; Dr. William (Clarice Alderdice) Weiderman, Eureka, CA; Sam (Debbie) Weiderman, Danville, KY; Carol Engebretson, Sunbright, TN; 9 grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law Eileen ("Bucky") Knapp, Chillicothe; and a brother and sister-in-law Leland (Glady) Terflinger, Columbus, OH. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a grandchild and a great-grandchild. Kathleen was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1946. She will be remembered by her family for being a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
