Kathleen Marie Weaver, went home to be with the Lord after 20 years of a brave struggle on June 2, 2021. Her strength and determination were beyond belief, her optimism and outlook on life was always positive even though she had to overcome many health obstacles. She was always cheerful with the most beautiful smile. To know her was to love her. We know she is no longer suffering and we can find peace in knowing this.
She was born March 5, 1962 in Pittsburg, PA, daughter of the late Richard McPherson and Toni Amantea. On March 21, 1998, she married Timothy E. Weaver, and together they shared over 23 years of marriage.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother step-father, Toni (Fred) Ingerham; her three beloved sons, Ryan Benson, Shaun Benson, and David (Sadie Hammond) Weaver; two step-children, Brandi (Ian) Weaver Lorenc, and Kasey Weaver; four granddaughters, Rylie Benson, Avery Benson, Scarlett Benson, and one on the way; two siblings, Paul (Darcy) McPherson, and Karen (Bobby) Neal; a brother-in-law, Jason (Lydia) Weaver; two sisters-in-law, Natalie (Jeff) Jackson, and Marsha (Bob) Hite; her niece, Brittany (Nate) Newcomb; her nephew, Dave (Kayte) McPherson; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and close friends. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Keith McPherson, and a sister-in-law, Robin Weaver.
Kathleen was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, where she formerly served as a Eucharistic Minister. Her family was her world, and she loved getting to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She especially enjoyed getting to cook meals for everyone until her illness prevented. Prior to her illness, she loved spending time outdoors working in her garden and flowers.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Rev. Timothy Hayes, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a visitation on Tuesday evening from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the Haller Funeral Home.
