Kathleen Mcnaughton

Kathleen M. McNaughton, 85, of Chillicothe, died at 5:15am Friday, January 1, 2010, in the Ohio State University Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born December 31, 1924, in Portsmouth, OH, to the late Homer N. and Agnes M. Fink McCarty. She was the widow of the late Lawrence Henry McNaughton. Surviving are her son Lawrence Harry McNaughton; daughter and son-in-law Kathleen P. (Tom) Roy, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren: Robert, Mary Anne, and Katrina Smith; Zach (Beth) Roy; Seth (June) Roy; Ethan Roy; Noah (Amy) McNaughton; Liza Jo (Chris) Legg; and Eli McNaughton and Sarah Jenkins; great-grandchildren: Derick Shirkey; Anna Lee Smith; Nate and Gabe Roy; Oliver Roy; Ally and Taryn McNaughton; and Jesse Legg; brothers and sisters-in-law Fredrick (Rosie) McCarty; Robert (Mary Lou) McCarty; sisters and brothers-in-law Rosemary (Elmer) Shoemaker; Theresa (Dean) Williams; Bernie (Edsel) Duty; and sisters Norma Jean Horn; and Rita Saunders and her companion Don Green;. She was predeceased by her daughter Agnes Ann Smith; son Christopher Carl McNaughton; a sister Elizabeth Brundige; and brothers Patrick and William McCarty. Kathleen was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00pm Sunday, Rev. William Hahn, Celebrant. Friends may call Saturday from 3-5pm at Haller Funeral Home.
