Kathleen Hustead

Kathleen Marie Hustead, 61, of Chillicothe, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015, at Traditions of Chillicothe, following an extended illness. She was born December 15, 1953 in Nelsonville, Ohio to William A. (Maggie) and the late Natalie Polifroni Bishop. On November 29, 1985, she married Stephen Lee Hustead, who preceded her in death on April 28, 2010. Kathleen is survived by her children, Jeanne (Guy) Gray, of Chillicothe, and Erin (Noah Adams) Spetnagel, of Newark; six grandchildren, Dakotah, Kyla, and Sydney Gray, of Chillicothe, and Gaven Spetnagel, Riley and Isabella Adams, of Newark; two sisters, Barbara Gaetos, of Aurora, CO, and Theresa (Marty) Burright, of Columbus; a brother, Bill (Terri) Bishop, of Waterville; In addition to her mother and husband, Kathleen was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jon Gaetos. She was a graduate of Victor Valley High School, class of 1971. She attended Open Door Ministries in Chillicothe, and was an active resident of Hopeton Village. Kathie loved spending time with her family and doting on her grandchildren. She was an avid seamstress and it always made her happy to create something special for family and friends. She touched many hearts and will truly be missed by all. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Open Door Church with Pastor Harold Wayne Gray presiding.
