Kathleen Gay

Kathleen E. Gay, 84, died at 7:38am December 12, 2018, at Signature Healthcare of Chillicothe.   She was born August 21, 1934, in Battle Creek, MI, to the late Herbert and Elizabeth (Phillip) Edson. She was married to Robert P. Gay, who preceded her in death August 18, 1988. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter Pamela S. Gay; a son Geoffrey E. Gay; and sisters and brothers-in-law Hazel (Richard) Lane and Doreen (Richard) Hake.   She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Kevin R. (Cheryl) Gay, Urbana, OH, and Timothy P. (Wanda) Gay, Chillicothe; grandchildren: Jacob D. Gay, Portsmouth, Casey R. Gay, Urbana, Nicole C. and Joseph R. Gay, both of Chillicothe.   Kathleen was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Battle Creek, MI and of St. Paul Episcopal Church, Chillicothe.   Following cremation service, she will be buried at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens in Battle Creek, MI. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Episcopal Church, 33 E. Main St., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
