Katherine Faye Parr, 64, of Chillicothe, went home to the Lord unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, July 11, 2018 at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness.
She was born October 28, 1953 in Hammond, Indiana, to the late Ruth Mae Hall and Troy (Sandra) Parr.
She is survived by her daughter, Penny (Kenneth Bevins) Parr, of Circleville; six grandchildren, Tavares Pickett, Wheelersburg, Cheyanne Pickett, Savannah Pickett, Marque Pickett, Darcell "DJ" Pickett, and Brandon Parr, all of Circleville; three great-grandchildren, Kaya Pickett, Malacai Mauch, and Kamilla Pickett; four siblings, Wendy Parr, Sue Bennett, Earl Parr and Donald James Kramer; as well as her life partner, James Stewart.
Katherine loved to be outdoors and to go walking. She especially loved gardening, plants; she enjoyed her cats and liked to crochet. She also had a strong Christian faith and loved the Lord.
In accordance with her wishes, the family will have a private celebration of life service. There will be no public calling hours or funeral.
