Karen Park

Karen R. Park, 62, of Circleville, died at 11:00pm Monday, August 6, 2012, in her home following a courageous battle with an extended illness. She was born March 25, 1950, in Chillicothe to the late Paul E. and Betty L. (Hallett) Roush. On September 8, 1989, she married Fred Park, who survives. Also surviving are her step-daughters Deborah Uhrig, Circleville; and Amy Childress, Kingsport, TN; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law Linda Poole, Chillicothe; and Luanna (Peter) Dodson, Sicily, Italy; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, a sister Kay Roush; and father-in-law and mother-in-law Robert and Theresa Park. Karen was a graduate of Southeastern High School, Class of 1968. She worked for 27 years at Chilpaco until her illness limited her work. She was a member of the Chilpaco Local 988 and a member of Crossway Ministry Church of God. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, August 11, at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Denny officiating. Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery, Richmond Dale. Friends may call Friday from 5-8pm at Haller Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Berger Hospice, 1170 N. Court St., Circleville, OH 43113.
