Karen Mccullough

Karen E. McCullough, 45, of Chillicothe, died at 5:00pm Thursday, April 27, 2006, in Select Specialty Hospital, Columbus, OH, following an extended illness. She was born February 21, 1961, in Ross County to the late Paul J. and Dorothy Mae (Poole) McCullough. She is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law David (Pauline) McCullough; Gregory (Trudy) McCullough; sister and brother-in-law Bethany (Gene) Smith, all of Chillicothe; nephews and nieces Shannon (Teresa), Shane (Chasity), Gregory L. (Christina), Dale, Eric (Patricia), Troy (Camelle)McCullough; Janaca (James) Moss; Aaron (Tammy) Spriggs; Justin (Poppy) Spriggs; Caleb Smith; several aunts and uncles, including a very special aunt, Helen McCullough; and 16 great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Stephen McCullough. Karen was a graduate of Zane Trace High School, Class of 1979. Karen retired in 1994 from the Ross County Correctional Institute. She was a devoted worker and an avid animal lover. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Monday, May 1, at Haller Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow in Hallsville Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8pm at Haller Funeral Home.
