Karen Fout

Karen Sue Fout, 60, of Chillicothe, passed away at 1:06am on Monday, December 25, 2017, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, following a brief illness. She was born March 17, 1957, in Chillicothe, to the late Lawrence E. and Nina R. (Bowdle) Taylor. Surviving is her son, Justin (Charmarie Krouse) Fout, of Frankfort; three step-sons, Kevin, Tim, and Chris Fout, all of Frankfort; her grandchildren, Meghan and Ben, Heather, Jennifer, and Ryan, and Logan, Zach, and Ryan; her sister, Teresa Taylor, of Chillicothe; an aunt, "Sis" Free; her close friend, Charles Fout; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her uncle, Robert "Bob" Bowdle, her aunt, Ruth Robinson, paternal grandfather, "Jack" L.E. Taylor, and her maternal grandparents, Kenneth (Lucille) Bowdle. Karen was a graduate of Adena High School, Class of 1975. She worked at the American Legion Post 757, where she was a member. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary 757, the VFW Post 108, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. In her free time she enjoyed watching horse races, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. A visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00pm on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at the Haller Funeral Home and Crematory.
