Justin Lee Young

December 25, 1985 — February 8, 2026

Frankfort

Justin Lee Young “Jayo”, 40, of Frankfort, OH, passed away unexpectedly at Adena Regional Medical Center Sunday February 8th, 2026.

He was born on December 25, 1985, in Chillicothe OH, to Robert Lee Young II and Francie Jean Julian. Justin was a graduate of Unioto High School, class of 2004, where he played basketball and football. Justin was also a graduate of OU-C where he received a Bachelor’s degree, and later went on to receive a certificate to become a Chemical Dependency Counselor. He worked as a Case Manager & Substance Abuse Counselor at Lighthouse Youth & Family Services.

Justin’s biggest passion was being a great father to his 3 amazing children. He was an avid sports fan of THE Ohio State Buckeyes and the Dallas Cowboys. He’s always had a passion and love for sports since his early childhood, and even as an adult he took that passion and became a youth coach and mentor for football, basketball, and baseball. He enjoyed being outdoors, camping and traveling to new places. He loved cooking, golfing, playing pickleball and ultimately spending time and making memories with his family and friends. He was an amazing mentor to the youth that he worked with at Lighthouse, and made a huge impact on everyone that he encountered. He loved music and dancing (if you know, you know). His sense of humor was unmatched, he loved cracking jokes and making people laugh. Justin truly cared about his children, family, friends and loved ones more than anything in this world. He was always looking out for others, lending a helping hand and showing up for his people in every way possible. He will forever be deeply missed.

Justin was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Young II and Francie Jean Julian. Surviving are his three children; Taylor Madison (Nicole Hutton), Jaylen Taylor and Madelyn Grace (Lindsey Poling). Sister; Kaitlyn Young (Torrance Nesbitt). Nieces and nephews; Bristol, Brooklyn, Julian and Tyler. Along with many other loving family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
