Julie Ann Menefee, 64, of Chillicothe, went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, October 31, at Adena Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. Julie was born May 16, 1953, to the late Lavon Frederick Menefee and Elsie Jane Lee Menefee Ragland, who survives. In addition to her mother, she is survived by brothers Lee (Lynn) Menefee, of Menomonee Falls, WI, Dan Menefee, of Columbus, GA; sisters Kendra Thomas, Valerie Jo Smith, Sally Cunningham and Lisa Morris; nephews: LaJavion and LaQuayvion Menefee; nieces: Shannon Menefee, MacKenzie Menefee, Alexandra Menefee, Camille (Jeremy) Taylor and Taylor (Anthony) Young; great-nephews Nazir and Kalif Hamlin; great-niece Cooper Young; and a host of relatives and friends. Julie was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, served on the St. Vincent DePaul Board and parish council. She also served on the Board of Carver Community Center. She worked for Mead Paper Co. for 40 years, served on the Mead Cheer Committee and was a member of the USW, Local 731. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Monday, November 6, at St. Mary Church, Rev. Lawrence Hummer, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 4-7pm at Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, where a wake service will be held at 7pm.
