Julia Tyler

Julia M. Tyler, 83, of Chillicothe, died at 12:50pm Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Heartland of Chillicothe, following an extended illness. She was born September 22, 1929, in Portsmouth, OH to the late Charlie and Florence (Harlan) Jones. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Louis Tyler; a daughter Sherry Moody; and her brothers Richard and Russell Jones. Surviving are her children: Jenny Harlan; Diane Tyler; Lois Tyler; Kathy Tyler; Earlene Tyler and her companion Wayne Hoosier; Brenda (Jeff) Williams; Linda Woodfork; Craig Tyler; and Louis Tyler, Jr.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews including a special nephew Caleb (Gretchen) Breckenridge; a brother Melvin (Georgie) Jones; and many friends including a special friend Anne Nelson. Julia attended the Original Glorious Church of God, 123 W. Main St., where her funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday with Bishop Melvin Maughmer officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 11am until 1pm at the church.
