Judy Horsley

Judy C. Horsley, 65, of Chillicothe, passed peacefully with her family at her side.  She went to her heavenly home on December 26, 2022, following an extended illness.  We know Jesus was waiting with open arms.  She was a faithful member of the Sunrush Church of Christ.

She was born July 28, 1957 to the late Elmer and Louise Kamer Stanley.  She married Donald Horsley, the lover of her life, June 23, 1973, who survives.  Also surviving are her two daughters, Amy (Ron) Casto and Mindy (Bob) Cowman.  She left behind 13 grandchildren, who were her world, McKenzie (Brice) Vickers, Hunter, Gunner, Daisy, and Colt Parker, Caylaa, Ryan, Shay, and Emily Casto, Dylan Hughes, Bobby (Morgan) Cowman, Taylor Cowman and Emily Cowman; 4 great-grandchildren, Lorelai Vickers, Easton Hamner, Leyton and Lucie Cowman.  She is also survived by her siblings, Gerald (Melanie) Stanley, Paul (Cindy) Stanley, Kenny (Kim) Stanley, Gary (Becky) Stanley, Lisa (Chuck) Bentley, and Christina (Charlie) Montieth; and numerous nieces and nephews, but most of all, she left behind her companion/dog Trooper, who she loved more than us all.

Judy was a homemaker who loved spending time with family.  Her grandchildren always brightened her day and made her smile.  We were truly blessed to have such a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Friday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, Ron Thomas officiating.  Burial will follow in Huntington Twp. Cemetery.  Friends may call 11:00-1:00 Friday at Haller's.
