Judith Ann (Peterson) Blair, 74, of Andersonville, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2018, at the Adena Regional Medical Center.
She was born November 21, 1944 in Chillicothe, to the late C. Fred and Mary E. Peterson.
Judy was protestant by faith. She worked for many years at the Chillicothe Country Club.
Surviving are her two daughters, Shannon (Ernie) Barrows, and Leslie Ann (Gary Fisher) Cline, both of Chillicothe, her grandchildren, Brett (April) Peterson, Jordan (Cameron Pontious) Barrows, and Kaylynn Cline; step-grandchildren, Chris Butts, Autumn Fisher, and Hailee Fisher; a great-grandchild, Castiel Peterson; a special niece, Barbara Wingo-Clay, who was her caregiver for many years; her loving canine companion Sassy; two sisters, Lois M. McConahay, and Virginia Vest; a step-sister, Clara Louise Allen; two step-sons, Jeff and Alan Blair; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Elania Barrows-Pontious, her sisters, Patricia Lucas, and Phyllis Wade, a brother Fredrick Louis Peterson, brothers-in-law, Alvin Wade, R. Edward McConahay, and Charles E. Vest.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public calling hours. Caring cremation has taken place per Judy's request. Private graveside services will be held in Grandview Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital in honor of her great-granddaughter, Elania Barrows-Pontious.
