Jude Little

Jude Michael Little, 15, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly at 8:54am on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Adena Regional Medical Center.    He was born March 14, 2006, in Portsmouth, OH, to Mike and Erin (Cooper) Little, who survive.    Also surviving are his older brother Isaac Little, of Chillicothe; his paternal grandfather Mike Little; his maternal grandmother Penny Lamerson, both of Piketon; his maternal grandfather Cody (Lisa) Cooper, of Greenfield; aunts and uncles: Jeremy (Amanda) Little, Piketon, Shelli (Chris) Curtis, Waverly, Jodi Thomas-Head, Decatur, IL, April Cooper (fiancée Jared Tackett), Piketon, Amber Cooper, Piketon, Adam Lamerson, Waverly, Caleb & Camron Cooper, Greenfield, and Brice (Leah) Cooper & Brant Cooper, Hillsboro.  He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother Rebecca Little; maternal grandfather Ralph Lamerson; and his maternal great-grandfather Roy Penwell.   Jude was a Freshman at Unioto High School, where he played on the Freshman and JV basketball teams, coach by his brother, Isaac.  He loved playing basketball and PlayStation with his buddies.  Jude was a wonderful son and brother.  He was genuine and sincere.  He treated everyone with kindness.  He loved his school, his classmates, and his best friends.  He had the rare ability to change the people around him without ever knowing the full impact he had.  He was as loved as a person could be and will be mourned by many.   His funeral service will be held at 3pm Monday, January 17, in the Unioto High School Gymnasium, 14193 Pleasant Valley Rd., Chillicothe, OH 45601, with Mike Estes II officiating.  Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Grandview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11am until 3pm Monday at the gymnasium.    Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.  His online guestbook and video tribute are available at www.HallerFuneralHome.com   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Unioto Hoops Club, Attn: Matt Hoops, 160 Moundsville Rd., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
