Juanita Potter

Juanita Potter Juanita Slone Potter, 78, of Chillicothe, went to be with our Lord at 7:00 am, Sunday, March 11, 2007 at Grant Hospital, Columbus following a two week illness. She was born February 13, 1929 in Flatwoods, KY to Oscar Lee and Tisha Horne Slone. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Glenn T. Potter; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Terry Abels, Pittsburgh, PA; a granddaughter, Beth (Peter) Masto, Pittsburgh, PA; a grandson, Marc Abels, Westfield, PA; one great grandson, Brendan Mastro; and one sister, Herma Lee Rhodes, Pensacola, FL. Juanita was a proud member of Walnut St. United Methodist Church where she never missed a Sunday. Her ministry was helping other people; always visiting, cooking, and sending cards. She has many dear friends who were so important to her. She bowled in a league at Shawnee Lanes. Juanita and Glenn shared a lifetime of love and worked and played side by side, always together. Graveside funeral services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday in Grandview Cemetery, Pastor Scott Smith officiating. Calling hours will not be observed.
