Juanita Davis

Juanita S. Davis, 75, died at 7:08pm July 7, 2016, at Logan Elm Health Care following a brief illness. She was born August 26, 1940, in Chillicothe to the late Charles W. Hansel and Pauline Johnston. On January 11, 1975, she married Rodney Davis, Jr., who survives. Also surviving are her children: Jana Chaney (Roger Addy), Bourneville, and Ronda (Darrell) Hutt, Chillicothe; 18 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many cousins and friends, including special cousin Jodi Kimbler; and special friends Rex Worthen and Barbara Clay. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son Victor V. Chaney, Jr.; father-in-law and mother-in-law Rodney, Sr. and Mary Davis; and her grandmother, who raised her, Margaret Johnston. Juanita retired from the VA Medical Center in 1987. She was a member of Faith Apostolic Tabernacle Church and was an avid genealogist. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday, July 12, at Faith Apostolic Tabernacle Church, 2155 Western Ave., with Pastor Kenneth Feeman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 1 hour prior to the funeral at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
