Jozef John Cassar-Rohn 25 of Waverly died suddenly and unexpectedly due to natural causes at his residence on December 31st, 2023. He was born May 12th, 1998 in Winona MN to Thomas Rohn and KayMarie (Schumacher) Rohn. He married Kathlyn Cassar-Rohn in October 2022.
He is survived by his wife Kathlyn Cassar-Rohn and his three children Hazelle Cassar-Rohn, Lupin Cassar-Rohn, and Ivory Cassar-Rohn. Jozef enjoyed being a stay at home daddy, playing and teaching the children. Jozef enjoyed practicing hitting the ball correctly with Hazelle and Lupin. He enjoyed time playing video games and phone games with his wife, watching anime, fishing with his wife, children, brother Hunter, and brother-in-law Daniel. Jozef enjoyed camping, having his family with him and teaching his wife how to set the tent and make fires. He knew how valuable family time was with loved ones. Jozef enjoyed pretending not to listen to his big sister Angelique Clark (Even though we know he always did). He also liked to talk about the time she coached his swimming team, to them working together at YMCA and cracking her back if she was ready for it or not it was always a big squeeze. He enjoyed talking about anime with his big brother Hunter Rohn. He spent a lot of time talking to his brother-in-law Daniel Clark about the great outdoors. Jozef enjoyed talking with his father Thomas Rohn about Sports and past times, and he enjoyed his mother KayMarie Rohn and their teasing one another. Jozef loved the outdoors and nature so for his Abuelita, Julianna Schumacher he would do yard work for her and had a yearly tradition making cookies for Christmas. Jozef enjoyed talking and hanging out with his Uncle Johnny and Aunt Tracy. Jozef is also survived by his father Thomas Rohn and mother KayMarie Rohn. His sister Angelique Clark and brother-in- law Daniel Clark and their two girls, his nieces MarleA Clark and Emri Clark. Also, brother Hunter Rohn. His Abuelita Julianna Schumacher. His uncle L.John Schumacher and Aunt Tracy Schumacher. His cousin Zachary Schumacher and his wife Jaclyn and their three children. His cousin Justin Schumacher and his wife Sarah and their two children. Also is Cousin Jessica (Schumacher) Carroll and her husband Jacob.
Jozef is predeceased by his little brother JeRicho Rohn, his maternal grandfather Lyle Schumacher and paternal grandparents Joseph and Elizabeth Rohn.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1:00pm on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Rev. Brown, Celebrant. Burial in St. Margaret Cemetery will take place at a later date. Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 4:00pm-7:00pm.
