Joycelyn Jackson, 53, of Chillicothe, passed away early Thursday morning, October 16, 2025 at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following a 5 month illness.
She was born April 28, 1972, in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of Hilda Jackson. She married her beloved husband, Andrew Hoffer, and together they shared 5 years of marriage.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Hilliary Jackson; beloved grandson, Dominique Vernon; two sisters, Krista Jackson and Robin Ragland; numerous nieces and nephews, including special nephews, Quentin and Deonte; and her close friends, Candice, Amy, Juanita, and Andie.
Joycelyn worked for Logan Elm Health Care Center in Circleville, Ohio for many years until she retired to help take care of Dominique. In her free time, she loved going out with her husband and friends on the weekends. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
In accordance with her wishes, a celebration of life service will be announced in the coming weeks.
