Joyce Anne Seymour, 74, of Chillicothe, passed away early Monday morning, June 13, 2022 at her home, following a brief illness.
She was born August 15, 1947 in Chillicothe, daughter of the late Roma Lee Bane and Gleneva Amelia (Bush) Turner. In 1983, she married Donald W. Seymour, who preceded her in death December 19, 2021.
Joyce is survived by her four children, Rhonda Leeson, Cathy Leeson, Larry Leeson, Jr., and William Leeson; grandchildren, Dustin Hardbarger, Christopher Johnson, Nathan Hill, and Ryan Hill; numerous step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and three siblings, Leola Elder, Glenn Bane, and Peggy Schroeder. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Denver Hardbarger, Jr., and a brother, Richard "Foot" Turner.
Joyce was a member of the Jefferson Avenue CCCU. She was the former lead singer of the Country Edition band, and in her free time loved bowling.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, June 27, 2022 at the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
