Joyce Ritchhart

Joyce A. Ritchhart, 84, of Chillicothe, passed away early Friday morning, May 4, 2018, at her home, following an extended illness. She was born October 1933, in Campton, KY to the late Elmer and Eva (Gallagher) Lykins. Surviving is her companion of more than 30 years, Robert Bowers, of Chillicothe; a brother, Lee Lykins, of Olympia, WA; a sister, Abby Duffy, of Orangevale, CA; two nephews, Joe Sparks and Kenny Wipert; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Herald Lykins, Herbert Lykins, Lela Sparks, Mrs. Jay Harris, Reva Mann, Olga Gary, Bonnie Friek, and Elizabeth Murry. Joyce worked at the Chillicothe Telephone Company as the Assistant Chief Operator for many years before retiring. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed gardening in her free time. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at the Haller Funeral Home with Chaplain Billy Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowers Family Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a visitation on Tuesday from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the funeral home.
