Joyce L. Montgomery, 78, of Chillicothe, died July 1, 2021, at her residence, following an extended illness.
She was born June 21, 1943 in Xenia, OH to the late Robert and Avanelle Spence Osborn. She married Ray Montgomery, who preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Shelley (Mike) Chidester and Debbie Osborn, of Chillicothe; three grandchildren, Ashley Montgomery, Abby Chidester and Michael C. Chidester; and a great-granddaughter, Aleh Compston. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Osborn.
Mrs. Montgomery retired from Walmart. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, listening to music, and watching westerns and mystery shows on television.
Following cremation, private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Foundation for the Blind at www.afb.org .
