Joyce Million

Joyce Katherine Million, 59, of Chillicothe, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016 at her home, following an extended illness. She was born November 12, 1956, in Savannah, Georgia, to George Younker and the late Laquita (Shaw) Younker. On October 20, 1995, she married Rick Lee Million. In addition to her husband, Joyce is survived by two daughters, Lisa Dawn (Robbie Sales) Younker, of Winchester, IN; and Rebecca Jean (Juan Ramon) Zarraga, of North Platte, NE; a son, James William Taylor II, of Orient, OH; five grandchildren, Matthew Lee Taylor, of Kingston, Alexandra Nicole Braun, of Winchester, IN; Katherine Marie Cruz, of North Platte, NE, Dillion Taylor, of Bradford, OH, and Kiptyn Lee Sales, of Winchester, IN; one great-grandson, Victor Wade Braun, of Winchester, IN; her two brothers, Gavin Younker, of Vandalia, OH; and Glenn Younker, of Union City, IN; her step-mother, Dora B. (Combs) Younker; her special friends, Kelli Depugh and Jade Stewart; her canine companion, Riley; as well as numerous other friends. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother George Younker, II. Joyce was a school bus driver at Chillicothe High School for 9 years until her illness prevented her from working. She enjoyed traveling and going to Myrtle Beach to visit the ocean. In her spare time, she loved crafting, sewing, crocheting, painting, and creating wreaths. She also loved being outdoors working in the garden, kayaking, and hiking. She especially loved taking rides with Rick in their side by side ATV. She will be fondly remembered by her family and friends as a kind, generous soul, who never met a stranger; treating everyone she knew as family. She had an avid love for life, and lived each day to its fullest. A visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00pm on Monday, November 14, 2016, at the Haller Funeral Home and Crematory. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place following the services.
