Joshua Smith

Joshua C. Smith, 26, of Chillicothe, died Saturday, July 10, 2010, in Albemarle Co., VA, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born November 9, 1983 in Dallas, TX to Thomas M. Smith and Diane K. Lynch Smith, who survive. Also surviving is a sister, Christina Smith, of Chillicothe; a beloved niece, Aleicia Smith; five aunts, Wilda Rae (James) Arnold, Paul Teacher, Jill (Lanny) Smith, Naomi Lynch, and Peggy Godette; two uncles, Jeffery (Janette) Lynch and John Smith; his paternal grandmother, Audrey Smith; and he was devoted to his several cousins and the Fight Club. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Myron and Wilda Lynch, his paternal grandfather, Benjamin Smith; and two uncles, James and Myron Lynch Jr. Mr. Smith was a student at the Ohio Christian University and a member of Zion Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Thursday at the New Fork Baptist Church, Ft. Union, VA. A memorial service will be held 10:30 am, Sunday July 25 at Zion Baptist Church.
