Joshua Groves

Joshua A. Groves, 34, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly at his residence on March 28, 2025.

He was born March 20, 1991, in Bremerhaven, Germany, and proudly served his country in the US Army from 2008 until 2012.  Josh loved working as a Chef and made many friends doing so.  He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed being outdoors, especially hiking.

He is survived by his mother, Terri Nolan, of Cameron, NC; his daughter Vanessa K. Groves, of Fayetteville, NC; his brothers Rishard and Malik Nolan, both of Columbus; his sister Katie Walker, of North Carolina; maternal grandmother Peggy Sampson, of New Lexington, OH; his aunt Angie Groves, of Denver, CO; and numerous great-aunts and great-uncles.  He was predeceased by his brother Richard Nolan; and his step-father Cordale Nolan.

Cremation services are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
