Josephine M. Gilmore, 80, of Chillicothe, passed away at 9:05 pm, July 16, 2023, following an extended illness.
She was born August 8, 1942 in Chillicothe to the late William and Madelyn Carroll. Survivors include a daughter, Angie (Michael) McMahon, of Chillicothe; 2 granddaughters, Amanda (Matthew) Ballentine and Lindsay Walls, both of Chillicothe; 7 great-grandchildren, Aaron, Madison, Lucas, Bentley, Josie, Lucas Ryan, and Graham; three siblings, Kathleen Carroll, Judith (Kenneth) Howard, and Rosemary (Lee) Kittrell; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special cousin, Joyce Link. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gilmore, and a sister, Susan Richmond.
Josie enjoyed spending time with family and going on trips which included an annual girl trip with her sisters to Wisconsin
