Joseph Herald

Joseph J. Herald Jr., 67, of Chillicothe, died 1:11 am, Friday, July 23, 2010, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, unexpectedly. He was born February 3, 1943 in Frankfort, KY to the late Joseph Herald Sr. On July 3, 1976 he married the former Eva Jean Kerry, who survives. Also surviving are his two sons, Jeff (Kelly) Herald, of Chillicothe and Jerrod (Krista) Herald, of Frankfort; a step-son Greg Parker, of West Virginia; five grandchildren, Joseph (Kendra Kent), Joshua, Jeremy and Justin Herald and Tiffany Keller; two great-grandchildren, Gavin Kent and Kaitlyn Keller; a brother, Bill (Vicky) Herald, of Chillicothe and two sisters, Vickie Herald, of New Jersey and Rhonda Adamski, of Toledo, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Sandy. Mr. Herald retired from the Mead Corporation in 2004. Graveside funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday July 27, at Fairmont Cemetery, Jackson, OH, Pastor Ryan Bevan officiating. Friends may call 5-8 pm Monday at the Haller Funeral Home.
