Jonathan Stout

Jonathan C. Stout, 52, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly September 9, 2006, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Beckley, WV. He was born May 7, 1954, in Ithaca, NY, to Donald F. and Helen C. Abrams Stout. On June 15, 1979, he married the former Karen Sue "Kacy" Shields, who survives. Also surviving are his sons Jeff North and Ken Stout; daughter Staci Stout, all of Chillicothe; his mother, Helen C. Grimm, Ithaca, NY; brother and sister-in-law Marc (Charlene) Stout, Ithaca, NY; a sister and brother-in-law Eleaner (Jim) Loos, Alexandria, VA; and his step-mother, Sandra Sawyer, Ocala, FL. He was predeceased by his father, his step-father Ralph Grimm, a sister Alicia Phinney; and a brother Raymond Alvin Stout. Jon worked for Carter Lumber Co. as a contractor salesman. He was a manger for the former Scott Lumber Co. and also worked at the former RCA/Thompson Electronics in Circleville. He attended Brookside Church. He was active with the Boys Scouts of America and the Ross County Home Builders Association. Jon was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Vietnam era. Funeral services will be held 10:00am Friday at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Jon Creamer officiating. Military graveside services conducted by the Ross Co. Veteran Honor Guard will follow in Omega Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8pm Thursday at Haller Funeral Home.
