Jonathan David Greene, 23, of Chillicothe, passed away at Berger Hospital, Circleville, at 5:04pm on Friday November 27, 2009. He left behind a legacy of smiles, laughter and love. He was born on June 7, 1986, Westerville, OH, to proud parents James Wesley Greene, Jr. and Melinda Jean Carver Greene, both of Chillicothe, who survive. Also surviving are two proud big brothers Jerome and Brandon Greene, both of Portsmouth. On his second birthday, instead of present, he received a sister, Olivia Greene, of Chillicothe. Olivia's daughter, Kimara Greene, was his favorite person in the entire world. He worshipped her as if she was his princess and she worshipped him as if he were her prince. He also left behind his grandmother, Opal Greene, of Maysville, KY; grandparents Samuel and Bonnie Carver of Quincy, KY; an enormous amount of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that loved him more than words can explain. It is an understatement to say that he will be missed. He was predeceased by his grandfather, James Wesley Greene, Sr. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, December 5, at the Zion Baptist Church, 84 S. Clinton Rd., with Rev. J. Troy Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 11am until 1pm Saturday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home.
