John D. Tomlinson, "Deacon," 50, of Cincinnati, died unexpectedly Wednesday March 17, 2021. Deacon was born July 31, 1970, in Chillicothe, OH, the son of Marsha Tomlinson Wagner, of Chillicothe; and John A. Tomlinson, who preceded him in death. Deacon graduated from Chillicothe High School. He attended Ohio University-Chillicothe and the University of Cincinnati. He served his country in the US Air Force during Desert Storm. He is survived by his two children: John A. "J.T." (Madi) Tomlinson, of Cincinnati; and Nicholas Tomlinson, of Chillicothe; and his beautiful granddaughter Lyla A. Tomlinson. Deacon is also survived by his sister Laura "Lori" (David) Bannister and brother Andrew (Meredith) Tomlinson; and many nieces and nephews. Deacon worked at Ford Motor Co. for 24 years. He loved going to the farm for fishing and hunting. Deacon lived by his motto, "Live everyday like it's your last." Military graveside service, conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard, will be held at 11am Tuesday, March 23, in Grandview Cemetery under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. The gravesite is located in the area of lot markers 15 & 8.
