John Sheets

John E. Sheets John E. Sheets 81, of Frankfort, died 5:47 pm, Sunday, July 30, 2006 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born October 20, 1924 in Roxabelle to Roy and Garnette Campbell Sheets. On November 17, 1945 he married Martha Malone who preceded him in death. Their five children survive; Janet (Roy) Honeycutt, of Georgia; Donna (Robert) Spencer, Connie (Tim) Maxie and Beth Sheets, all of Chillicothe, and Gilbert (Pam) Sheets, with whom he lived. On July 2, 1960 he married Ruby Smart and had one step-son, James (Beverly) Ditto, of Colorado. He had nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and three sisters, Annabelle Rigsby, Gladys Liebe, and Florence (Ralph) Woods. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Charlene, Nora and Eva; four brothers, David, Donald, Jim and Danny Sheets; and his wives. John was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend. He will be remembered as a kind and loving person and sadly missed. However, heaven is getting a wonderful man. John had retired from the Mead Paper Co. following 30 years of service. Funeral services will be held 5:00 pm Wednesday in the Haller Funeral Home, Pastor Tim Keeton officiating. Friends may call 3-5 pm Wednesday, prior to the service. Private graveside funeral services will be held in Floral Hills Memory Garden at the convenience of the family.
