John Nesser

John R. Nesser, 76, of Chillicothe, died at 3:05pm January 11, 2013, at Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born January 5, 1937, in Londonderry to the late Marion S. and Edith (Smith) Nesser. He is survived by his daughters Joan Nesser, of Missouri; daughter and son-in-law Rebecca (Jafar) Bintarif, Columbus; son and daughter-in-law John D. (Kristy) Nesser, Chillicothe; grandchildren: Antoine L. Cole II, Timiesha LAL Cole, Hind JK Bintarif, Rabeah JK Bintarif, Kyad JK Bintarif, Michael D. Williams and Jaquon L.L. Nesser; his brothers and sisters: Lucille Ward, Myrtle (Walter) Stevens, Marion Bruce (Ina) Nesser, Essie (Dennie) Brickles, Mary (Donald) Hardy, David Nesser, Helen Vance, Steve (Carolyn) Nesser, Bonnie (Ronald) Brickles; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers and sisters Harold England, Virginia Nesser, Billie Nesser, Minney Lancey and Martha Moss. John was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving his country from 1954-1957. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, January 18, at the Haller Funeral Home. Military graveside services, conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard, will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8pm at Haller Funeral Home.
