John Green

John E. Green, Sr. John E. Green, Sr., 63, of Chillicothe, went to be with his Heavenly Father 1:25 am, Monday, July 06, 2009, at his sister's home, surrounded by family, following a year long courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 19, 1945 in Ross Co. to Hestel E. and Pearl Drummond Green. Survivors include his children, Dale Green, of Chillicothe, Denise Coffey, Daniel Green, and John Green Jr., all of Savanna, Ga; six grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his former wife, Roseanne Hysell; sisters, Shirley (Tony) Hurles, Dorothy (Fred) Hysell and Jenny (Steve) Miller; brothers, Carl (Sandy) and Danny (Katie) Green. Mr. Green was employed by RLS and the family thanks Charlie and Vince Stevens and Connie Chaney for their support. He attended the High St. CCCU and the family also thanks Rev. Bruce Viar and the church for their loving support and prayers. Johnny loved to hunt and fish. He was a joy to around and maintained his excellent sense of humor until his death. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday in the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. Bruce Viar officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 pm Wednesday at Haller's.
