John O. Flesher, 72, of Chillicothe, died 12:05 am, Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at his residence.
He was born Wednesday, November 15, 1950 on Anderson Ave., Frankfort, the son of the late Mary and Morris Flesher Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Crystal Smith Flesher; three of the greatest children a man could ask for, Meggan (Eugene) Cremeans, Clarksburg, Matt (Danielle) Flesher, Frankfort, and John (Deanna) Flesher, Piketon; six grandchildren, who he was extremely proud of, Savannah (Samantha) Flesher, Jacob (Felicia) McCown, Sydney Flesher, Cole (Mindy) Flesher, Spencer Flesher and Makara Flesher; a great-granddaughter, River Mae Flesher; and a great-grandson, due Decemeber 2022; a sister, Judith (Robert) Thompson, Laurelville; and a brother, Mark Flesher, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Robert Flesher.
John worked for Kenworth Truck Co. for 38 years (1974-2012), starting in the axle department as an assembly specialist. He continued to work as a unit manager, project coordinator, and received an award for a nationwide steering gear recall. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and loved open wheel racing.
