John Finney

John H. Finney II, 42, of Chillicothe, died Saturday, September 5, 2015, in Bethel, OH. John was born January 13, 1973, in Chillicothe to John H. and the late Sharon M. Rogers Finney. He is survived by his daughter, Lauren Finney, Chillicothe; his father John H. Finney, Waverly; his former wife, Michelle Finney, Chillicothe; sisters and brothers-in-law Brenda (Dan) Wellman, Bethel, OH; and Paulette (Rod) Sink, Columbus; 4 nieces and nephews; and his step-father Richard Crawford, Chillicothe. He was predeceased by his mother, Sharon. John was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1991. He served his country in the US Navy and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Thursday, September 10, at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor David Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Springbank Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7pm Wednesday at Haller Funeral Home.
