John Brown

John Anthony Brown, 53, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly, Monday, March 28, 2011. He was born January 31, 1958 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Leo and Elizabeth "Betty" McLelland Brown. On March 8, 1980 he married the former Myscenea Nichols Brown, who survives. Also surviving are his two sons, whom he loved with all his heart, Jason and Wesley Brown; three brothers, Paul (Brenda) Brown, of Estes Park, CO, Michael (Nancy) Brown, Galena, OH, and Patrick (Barry) Brown, Kansas City, MO; a sister, Kathryn Brown, of City Island, NY; his mother and father-in-law, Carlene and Loren "Jack" Nichols; brothers-in-law, Mark (Pam) Nichols, Matt and Chuck Nichols; a sister-in-law, Fhaletta (Mike) Seymour; and many nieces and nephews. John was employed by Ingle Barr, Inc. He was an avid bicyclist and loved camping, hiking and rally car racing. John was a kind respectable, soft spoken man and will be missed by all that loved him. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday at the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. Steven Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Garden. Friends may call 6-9 pm Thursday at the Haller Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Citizens National Bank, where a fund is being established for his children's education.
