John Brown

John W. Brown, 76, of Chillicothe, died 5:01am, Friday, June 25, 2010, at his home, unexpectedly. He was born March 28, 1934 in Ross Co. to William A. and Nellie B. Spencer Brown. On November 9, 1968 he married Mary H. Bowers Brown, who survives. Also surviving is his daughter, Laurel A. (Michael) Demuth, of Columbus; three brothers-in-law, Robert Poole, Robert Bowers, and James Bowers, all of Chillicothe; a sister-in-law, Irene Bowers, of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Carolyn Groves and Luana Poole. Mr. Brown retired from Mead Central Research. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 pm Monday at Haller's.
