Jody Kay Smith, 61, of Yellowbud, died March 20, 2021 at the Ohio State University James Hospital, following a battle with Leukemia.
She was born May 19, 1959 in Chillicothe to Charles M. and Barbara Butler Harris. On June 24, 1987 she married Charles W. "Bill" Smith, who survives. In addition to her mother and husband, survivors include three children, Natasha Smith, Nadia (Dylan) McCarrell, and Naleaha Smith; two grandchildren, Tauhj and Ashton Mumaw; four brothers, Mark (Bonnie), Mike, Marty (Peggy) and Mickie Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.
Jody enjoyed flower gardening and cooking. Following cremation, private graveside services will be held in Springbank Cemetery.
